The principles behind our pricing
The five principles behind Seapoint’s pricing — try before you buy, support for early-stage founders, free to manage your money, pricing that scales with your business, and no surprises — plus the plans we’ll offer from 15th September.

When we first launched Seapoint, we felt really strongly about delivering a product customers love and had real traction before we asked anyone to pay. So up until now our customers have been using Seapoint for free.
We’re now at a point where we have the depth and breadth of features that means founders really can use it as the financial home for their startup. So on 15th September we’re updating our pricing plans and starting to charge customers for the first time.
We take a first principles approach to everything we build at Seapoint — we don’t accept the status quo, but strive to think differently, and build better.
So here’s the thinking behind our pricing plans. Five principles that help us decide who pays, what they pay for, and what stays free.
1. Try before you buy
You should have a chance to feel the value of Seapoint before we ask you to pay. So it’s always free to get started, experience the product, and feel the value for your business first.
2. Support for early-stage founders
We help early-stage founders get their businesses off the ground. A monthly software fee means something very different to a company six months in than to one with a Series A in the bank. So if you’re early stage and finding your feet, you get full Seapoint product, at a deeply discounted rate.
3. Free to manage your money
It’ll always be free to open a Seapoint business account (GBP / EUR account), get a debit card, and deposit funds in a Treasury account. Holding and moving your own money isn’t a feature — it’s the floor of running a company, and we’ll never charge you for access to your own money.
4. Pricing scales with your business
Our pricing scales in line with your business complexity. We keep pricing as low as possible for early stage founders with basic needs. You only pay more when you use more of our products, to support your business as it scales.
5. No surprises
No sneaky admin fees, no surprise surcharges, just transparent fees that are easy to understand. And if we ever change our fees we’ll always be transparent and give you a heads up.
What that means for our pricing plans
